Liberal arts graduates work in advertising, public relations, sales, politics, government agencies, publishing, travel, and more. Graduates may find work as account executive trainees, administrative assistants, anthropologists, caseworkers, copywriters, customs inspectors, exporters, historians, media buyers, politicians, public relations officers, researchers, retail salespersons and managers, sales promoters, speechwriters, travel agents, fundraisers, and United Nations staff members.
According to Dartmouth College, the liberal arts curriculum allows students to “explore big ideas and pursue particular passions.” The liberal arts curriculum is made up of large percentage of humanities courses (typically 48 percent) and sciences make up around 43 percent of the liberal arts curriculum.
