Bamboo is a great eco-friendly flooring option that resembles the look of wood floors.

You’ve finally decided to break down and replace the old flooring in your home; or, you’ve reached that exciting finish point of your addition or remodel. Initially, you may be concerned that “eco-friendly” means more expensive, or is somehow less attractive than conventional carpets. You may be pleasantly surprised at what materials are considered eco-friendly, and how affordable they actually are.

Bamboo Grass

A renewable resource, bamboo grass is a great choice for flooring. Although bamboo is grown with minimum pesticides and fertilizers, be cautious of products that use formaldehyde for bonding.

Linoleum
