In-ground swimming pools come in three different options:
Vinyl (PVC) Liner -One of the least popular models, a vinyl liner is slippery and easily torn. The seams tend to collect algae, and the liner will need to be replaced within 7-9 years. On the plus side, it is less expensive, easier to install, and requires fewer chemicals for maintenance. Gunite - Gunite is a concrete mix that is sprayed onto a frame constructed of concrete or steel to form the floor and walls of the pool. It can be dyed or sealed to create the color you desire.
