Wohler Technologies is showing a variety of new products at InfoComm 08, booth C2315, as well as a sneak peak of Atlas, a multitouch platform for the broadcast industry.

Wohler representatives said the new Touch-It Digital is a multichannel video monitor encased "in a smart, affordable design." The 3RU system features dual 7-inch, high-resolution color LCD displays, with the left monitor functioning as a touch screen of four to 16 thumbnail images. When an image is touched, its video source appears on the right monitor at full size, and its HD/SD-SDI source signal is transmitted to an unbalanced output as well as to a VGA output for monitoring on an external display.

The Touch-Comm multiview system is the result of a strategic partnership between Wohler and Intracom Systems. It represents the latest product from the Touch-It line: a touch-screen multivew system in which the left 7-inch touch-screen provides 12-channel multiview capabilty for composite analog video, with the selected video fee routed to an external system. The right-side 7-inch LCD display is also a touch-screen and allows operators to interface visually with an IP-based intercom system.
